👍OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has slammed Mark Zuckerberg for aggressively hiring AI talent from other companies, including OpenAI. He called Meta's approach "disgusting" and expressed confidence that OpenAI's mission-driven culture will ultimately prevail. Meta previously announced a superintelligence team made up of former OpenAI employees, which one of its scientists compared to "stealing from home." Altman acknowledged that Meta has poached some talent, but believes it has hired "not the best," and that his company is retaining key talent because of its unique culture and growth prospects. He believes that OpenAI is closer than any other company to creating true AI, unlike its competitors, which see it as a tool.💯
