🍎Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro Max is set to have a larger battery than any iPhone before, according to a leak from a Weibo user called “Instant Digital.” The leaker shared a list comparing battery sizes from the iPhone 11 Pro Max to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, revealing that the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a 5,000mAh battery.

For comparison, the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 4,676mAh battery, so this is a noticeable jump.The bigger battery is likely due to the phone being slightly thicker, measuring 8.725mm compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s 8.25mm.

This extra space could allow for a larger battery, improving how long the phone lasts on a single charge. Some users on forums are excited, hoping this means the phone could last over 35 hours. Others noted that a new, wider camera bump might also help make room for the bigger battery.However, not everyone is thrilled.

Some users say their iPhones, no matter the model, often drop to 20% battery by mid-afternoon. They hope for faster charging to go with the larger battery. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to launch in September 2025, and this leak suggests Apple is focusing on better battery life for its next flagship phone.
