👍Apple is making steady progress on its first foldable iPhone, set to hit the market in 2026. The device, expected to join the iPhone 18 lineup, will fold like a book, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold.

It will feature a 5.5-inch outer screen when closed and a larger 7.8-inch display when opened, offering a sleek, tablet-like experience. The phone is rumored to be impressively thin—4.5mm when unfolded and 9-9.5mm when folded—making it one of the slimmest foldables around.

The foldable iPhone will use a high-quality display from Samsung, designed to have a nearly invisible crease for a smooth look. Apple is also crafting a durable hinge using titanium and stainless steel to ensure the phone feels sturdy. Instead of Face ID, it may include a Touch ID button, and the camera setup will likely feature two rear lenses and a front-facing one.

Production is slated to begin in late 2025, with Foxconn handling assembly. While some details, like the hinge and other components, are still being finalized, Apple is focused on delivering a premium device.
