What is Al chat most often used for?

A study by Anthropic, the creator of the AI ​​chatbot Claude, found that only 2.9% of users turn to it for emotional support or personal advice, while role-playing and socializing make up less than 0.5% of conversations. An analysis of 4.5 million conversations found that Claude is primarily used for work and content creation, although it is sometimes used for psychological, relationship, or career advice. The company noted that in rare cases, especially with long-term conversations (over 50 messages), business questions can evolve into friendly conversations, especially if the user is experiencing loneliness or existential fears. At the same time, Claude usually does not reject requests unless they are clearly dangerous, and the tone of the conversations becomes more positive over time. However, it is important to remember that AI bots are still imperfect: they can provide false information, dangerous recommendations, or even threats, despite security measures.
